Governance of the Network

The main meeting of the Network is the annual meeting and AGM attended by both Small Pilgrim Place members and individual supporters. This meeting considers the vision and develops the direction for the Network, informed by member feedback, exchanges and visits between SPPs and individual meetings and discussions during the day. The outcome of these discussions are reflected in the annual updating of the handbook. It also receives reports on the activities of the Core Group in the previous year.

The management of the Network is conducted by a small group of volunteers, known as the Core Group. The Core Group includes representatives from Small Pilgrim Places and individual supporters. Members of the Core Group are confirmed at the annual meeting. The Core Group progresses the development of the Network through a regional structure, supports members by producing the annual Handbook and Directory, sharing good practice, sending out regular newsletters, publicity materials and maintaining the website.
