Once in Ely the Chapel is housed in the old monastic buildings in the Cathedral grounds. You will need to go into the Cathedral and ask the vergers for the key to get in (see above).
Passing through the porta from the Gallery, turn sharply to the left and follow the road for about 200 yards. You will see the chapel on your right.
Access is up some steep steps which will be difficult for some people.
There are toilets and a cafe within the cathedral itself, which is a few hundred yards from the chapel.
It is situated close to Bishop Woodford House, the Diocesan Retreat Centre, which can be booked for day or residential retreats and quiet days. www.bishopwoodfordhouse.com
