St. Mary, Netherbury
Description
A large 14th century Grade 1 listed church (with earlier origin) looking down over the village from Tower Hill. Beautiful and inspiring view over local Dorset countryside.
The resources for silence, prayer and meditation are varied and are changed from time to time. Currently there is the opportunity to light a candle, a prayer pool with pebbles and a prayer tree for anyone to leave their own prayer. There are folders of prayers and readings to use in church with other prayers to take away.
Standard opening times: Open every day 9 am to dusk.
