Description

Parish Church and House of Prayer.
Situated on a headland with commanding views over the Stour Valley, the church is mainly late 11th century and 14th century.
Wooden spire much loved by woodpeckers, churchyard frequented by badgers (beware of deep holes!)

Open all day. Regular services - 1st Sunday of month 8 a.m. Eucharist.

By Bus: From Sudbury or Halstead then 1.7 mile walk
On foot: On the Stour Valley Long Distance footpath (St Edmunds Way) 3 miles south of Sudbury.
Cycle route: Delightful quiet green lanes from A131 and From Sudbury-Bures road on south side of river Stour.

Facilities

Disabled Access: One step down into church – ramp available. Church accessed over grassland.
Little sales area with prayers and gifts. Monthly services and occasional quiet days.

Toilets and refreshments available at local pubs: The Henny Swan 1 mile away on riverside; The Lamarsh Lion 3 miles away S.E.
