St. Bartholomew's, Sealand

Description

An early John Douglas church (1867) built on land given by the River Dee Company who also partly paid for it, with lovely Victorian glass. It was remodelled in 2020 with underfloor heating and full facilities. The nave is used as a community space, the chancel provides a quiet space. It is a warm and restful building, an intimate and bright space.

Work is taking place to make the churchyard a quiet and welcoming space.

Standard opening times are Monday-Wednesdays 10 till 3, with Sunday services at 11.30 am.

Facilities

There is disabled access and toilet facilities. There is a community cafe in the church from 10-2 pm Mondays to Wednesdays.
The church is suitable for quiet days for individuals or groups.
