Description

The Grade II listed 14th Century Church is on the site of 6th Century Cell of St Corentyn. There is a Lady Chapel. The Churchyard has a Celtic Cross which is a Scheduled Ancient Monument, also listed Grade II, as are two headstones, two chest tombs and the South and West Gate Piers and Gates. There are views over the valley to the Sea.
The Church is open daily 10am - 4pm and at other times by arrangement with the Hospitaller. On Tuesday there is bell practice between 2.30-3.30 pm, followed at 3.30 pm by Pilgrim Prayers in the Celtic Tradition in the Lady Chapel, but please check with the Hospitaller to see if these are taking place as they are currently not on a regular basis. All are welcome.

By Foot: On two public footpaths from Church Road

Facilities

Access is by steps at both entrances. Nearest Toilets are at Poldhu Beach (approx. 1 mile away). Refreshments in Church or Poldhu has a good Beach Café open 363 days a year. Several B&B guest Houses in Cury.
Quiet days by arrangement. Hospitaller available by arrangement.
